2025 Season Kickoff

Danville, KY (April 27th, 2025) - The Kentucky PGA Junior Tour's season-opening event, the Season Kickoff, was held at Danville Country Club in Danville on April 26th and 27th. A full field of 103 players across four boys' divisions (16-18, 14-15, 11-13, 10 & Under) and three girls' divisions (14-18, 13 & Under, 10 & Under) competed in the stroke play tournament. The 18-hole divisions (Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Girls 14-18, and Girls 13 & Under) played 36 holes, while the 9-hole divisions (Boys 10 & Under and Girls 10 & Under) played 18 holes.

 

Round 1 took place on Saturday, April 26th, with a 1:00 PM Shotgun Start for all divisions. Round 2 commenced on Sunday, April 27th, with tee times beginning at 8:00 AM. The tee times proceeded in the following order: Boys 16-18, Girls 14-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Girls 13 & Under, Boys 10 & Under, and Girls 10 & Under.

 

This year’s champions are:

Boys 16-18:

Parker Geldhof, Lexington, KY -- Finished first place at (+4) 148.

Tanner Robinson, Harrodsburg, KY -- Finished second place at (+7) 151.


 

Boys 14-15:

Austin Walls, Nicholasville, KY -- Finished first place after winning a sudden death playoff (+10) 154.

Charlie Webster, Danville, KY -- Finished second place at (+10) 154.

 

Boys 11-13:

Greyson Cloern, Louisville, KY -- Finished first place at (-2) 142.

Max DeHaven, Hardinsburg, KY -- Finished second place at (+2) 146.


 

Boys 10 & Under:

Hagan Newton, Berea, KY -- Finished first place at (-2) 70.

Maclan Foley, Lawrenceburg, KY  -- Finished second place at (+11) 83.

 

Girls 14-18:

Avery Suter, Pewee Valley, KY -- Finished first place after winning a sudden death playoff (+9) 155.

Ella Sizemore, Louisville, KY -- Finished second place at (+9) 155.
 

Girls 13 & Under:

Parker Haddix, Nicholasville, KY -- Finished first place at (+11) 156.

Emlie Miller, Mayfield, KY -- Finished second place at (+17) 162.


 

Girls 10 & Under:

Paislie Miller, Mayfield, KY -- Finished first place at (+17) 89.

Bella Wang, Louisville, KY -- Finished second place at (+24) 96.
